why doesn't w11 file explorer see some of the computers on my network

I have a router and a switch on my network. My computers (w10 & w11) connected directly to the router via wire or wifi can see each other, but a computer connected via the switch (w10) cannot be seen by the computers connected to the router. I can access the switch computer by entering

\[computer name] into FE.

Why is this happening and can I fix it?

    Hello,

If the router and switch are on different subnets or VLANs, devices on one subnet/VLAN cannot see devices on another subnet/VLAN if routing is not set up correctly. First make sure all devices (router, switch, and computer) are on the same subnet. You can try pinging the computer connected to the switch from the computer connected to the router. If the ping fails, there is a network connectivity problem between the router and the switch.

    Best Regards

    Zunhui
