Hyper-V 3 node Cluster running Server 2022 can't re-enable live migration on nodes 2 and 3

We had to fix the servers due to the crowdstrike issue, after the VMs all came up but can't live migrate now. Node 1 has live migration enabled, strange thing is the Enable live migrations shows not enabled on node 2 and 3. When try get the error can't change settings as in use by the cluster. Any suggestion to be able to enable again on those 2 nodes? Would I stop the cluster services on all three nodes, then make the setting change, and then start the cluster service again?

    Hi Admin,

    Hope you're doing well.

    1. Before stopping the cluster services, ensure that all nodes are at the same patch level and have the latest updates for BIOS, firmware, and drivers.
    2. You can try stopping the cluster services on all three nodes. Use the following PowerShell command on each node:
    3. Once the cluster services are stopped, enable live migration on nodes 2 and 3.
    4. After enabling live migration, start the cluster services again:
    5. Ensure that the live migration settings are consistent across all nodes.
    6. In addition, you might want to check the virtual switch settings and ensure they are identical across all nodes.

    Best Regards

That was tried and still received the error. It ended up being REALLY EASY. I had to go on Nodes 2 and 3 and rename/delete the registry.pol file. Then was able to enable live migration again (it recreated the file). all is good in Cluster land now. Thanks you the reply.
