    Hi KKC22,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Unfortunately, perhaps they once existed independently, but along with product teams iterating on product features, the two have merged.

The images below show the results in Windows 10 as well as Windows 11.

If I misunderstand your situation, feel free to correct me and share the information.

Thank you Kyo for valuable inputs .

So we have 500+ workstations , mix of win 10 and 11 and we need to disable both Snip and sketch and snipping tool.

We tried disabling Snipping tool via Group Policy .. but it disabled snipping tool though snip and sketch still works ..

Is there a way we can disable Snip and sketch ?

    Hi KKC22,

Thank you for getting back to us.

The Answer community is primarily involved in general guidance at the usage level for products that do not involve complex device environments or complex networks.

We understand the importance of disabling specific features/policies for an organization.

However, we do not have experience with application deployment and system customization involving complex device environments.

We may need to invite other more experienced experts to help analyze this requirement.

    Best Regards,

    Hi KK,

Not sure how you can do that, but are you able to deploy this command to each PC to remove Snip and sketch?

    Get-AppxPackage *Microsoft.ScreenSketch* | Remove-AppxPackage
