Hello
Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.
Based on your description, here are the possible causes as well as some solutions that can help you fix this.
- Check the static IP settings of your network adapter:
Right-click on the Start menu and select Network Connections. Click "Change Adapter Options", then right-click on your LAN adapter and select "Properties". Select Internet Protocol Version 4 TCP/IPv4
and then tap Properties.
Make sure it's set to "Use IP addresses below" and fill in the correct static IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway.
- Prevent the network adapter from entering a low-power state:
Find the network adapter in Device Manager, right-click and click "Properties". Go to the "Power Management" tab, untick "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".
- Make sure you're using the latest drivers:
- Network reset
Reset network settings in Windows: Open Settings, select Network & Internet. Scroll down and find "Network Reset" and follow the prompts to reset your network settings.
- Confirm that the network switch is configured correctly:
Check and make sure that there are no configuration issues with the switch, such as VLAN settings, etc., to ensure that there are no configuration conflicts between the server and the switch.
I hope the information above is helpful.
