The hypervisor did not enable side channel vulnerability mitigations for the Virtual Machine because Hyper-Threading is enabled. To enable mitigations for the Virtual Machine, disable Hyper-Threading.

This error occurs frequently and is troubling me.

I have looked into this error but there is very little information available, so I am having a hard time finding a solution.

Thank you in advance.

    Hello,

Based on the information you provided, I suggest you go to the official website of the computer brand to update the BIOS, and then turn off hyperthreading in the BIOS. Turning off hyperthreading is a function in the BIOS. You can refer to the instructions on the official website of the motherboard for operation.

    Hello Zunhui.

    Thanks for your reply.

I checked the BIOS version and it seems that I am using the latest version of the BIOS

I am disappointed that disabling hyperthreading reduces the performance of the device

Do you have any other ideas?

    Thank you.

    Hi ,

I helped you find out about the mitigations in place for various other processors to prevent speculative execution side-channel vulnerabilities:
