Hi All,

I have recently procured Windows GGWA - Windows 11 pro - Legalization Get genuine license in bulk from a reseller.

But in admin console, I have received single key which I have to use on all the computers. But in admin console, I can not see which computer uses the key and how many keys are used. How can I administer these licenses?
Also another concern is, my computers are on a rental basis and once the agreement expires I will receive new computers so how can I transfer these licenses to new computers ? how to remove keys from old computers?

***moved from Windows / Windows 11 / Licensing and activation***

    Hello Devang Patel_MIC,

in your case, it is recommended use the Volume Activation Management Tool (VAMT) which is a free tool provided by Microsoft. VAMT allows you to manage and track the activation status of Windows, Office, and other Microsoft products on your network. You can use VAMT to activate products using Multiple Activation Keys (MAK) or Key Management Service (KMS) activation.

Regarding your concern about transferring licenses to new computers, you can use the same MAK key to activate the new computers. However, you will need to deactivate the license on the old computers before activating it on the new ones. To do this, you can use the VAMT tool to remove the key from the old computers.

Please note that deactivating a license on a computer does not uninstall the software. It only removes the activation status, and the software will continue to function in a reduced functionality mode until it is activated again.

You can learn more about VAMT in VAMT technical reference - Windows Deployment | Microsoft Learn.

    Hope it helps.

    Kind regards,

    Lei
