    Hi Lei,

I have a workstation running versions 22H2 and 23H2. I first noticed an issue in July with the cumulative update (KB5040442). I tried the updates for August, September, and October (KB5044282), but I encountered the same error each time.

    Hello Godson Evilhate,

it is necessary to install the latest SSU (ADV990001 - Security Update Guide - Microsoft - Latest Servicing Stack Updates) before you install the KB5044281.
