Testing NAPLAN Lockdown Browser did something to my laptop..

So, I use a school laptop for my work and yesterday we had a staff member come in and test the NAPLAN Locked down Browsers for an upcoming NAPLAN. After he finished testing my laptop, The taskbar and apps were minimized by a LOT.

I have tried fixing it myself, but its not returning to normal.

If this helps, I have an ASUS ExpertBook, running Windows 11 Education.

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

Based on the description, I understand your question is issues with your laptop after testing the NAPLAN Lockdown Browser. You can try the below methods to fix taskbar:

    1. Right-click on the taskbar, select Taskbar settings
    2. Under the "Taskbar behaviors" section, make sure that the "Automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode" option is turned off.
    3. Restarting your laptop .
    4. If the issue still persists, you can try resetting the Windows settings to their default values. Settings > System > Recovery > Reset this PC > Get started.

If it still don't work, it is recommended to contacting your school's IT for further assistance. They may provide more specific guidance based on your school's policies and laptop configuration.

    Best regards,

    Molly
