Hi, I have a laptop with Windows 11 24H2 (26100.2605) and last friday the system update automatically the security update KB5048667.

After restart I can't use Microsoft Sandbox because it not have any network, show only the plain mode.

I think that exist some incompatibillity with this last update.

O already uninstall and reinstall MS Sandbox, Hyper-V, virtual network adapter, check the DNS, flushdns, check services... but not resolve the problem.

Any help, please?! Thanks.

I have not tried uninstalling the security patch yet, but I did find that this seems to be a DNS resolution issue for me. If I manually set the DNS server to 8.8.8.8 on the Microsoft Hyper-V Network Adapter within the Windows Sandbox, I get DNS resolution again and internet access works.

This is only a workaround because next time I start the sandbox, this setting reverts to the default.

    Hi,

Check the sandbox configuration .wsb file and ensure networking is enabled.

    <Networking>Enable</Networking>

Since the problem is happening after installing the update, have you tried uninstalling the update?
