Dear all,

We deployed Genian NAC from the GPO , During installation we found some users deployed Genian NAC successfully and some users failed to installed Genian NAC.

Now we need to install Genian NAC manually for that we need to users list which has successfully installed or which users failed to installed , is there any way to find these?

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

Based on the description, I understand your question is related to Deployed Software Using GPO records.

To identify which users have successfully installed Genian NAC and which ones have failed, you can check the GPMC or Event Viewer on the dc.

    1. Open the Group Policy Management Console (GPMC).
    2. Navigate to the Group Policy Object (GPO) that was used to deploy Genian NAC.
    3. Check for any warnings or errors in the GPO settings that might indicate a problem with the deployment.
    4. Use the Group Policy Results Wizard to run a report on the affected users and computers to see if there are any issues with policy application.
    5. Open the Event Viewer on the domain controllers.
    6. Look under Windows Logs > Application and Security for any events related to Genian NAC deployment.
    7. Check for events with IDs that indicate a failure in policy application or installation issues.

If you find specific user accounts or computer names associated with failed installations, you can then proceed to manually install Genian NAC for those users.

    Have a nice day.

    Best Regards,

    Molly

    Dear Israr Ahmed,

did installation fail or not even occur? Because in the latter some users may have for some reason not have been included in the specific OU where the GPO has been linked to.

When it did fail; you could ask your users to run it and report back to you were they unsuccesfully. Or you would perhaps be able to see where the program connects centrally if it does so and then compare the connectivity to a list of all computers.

I will be around the coming couple of weeks to see and opinonate on what questions are brought here.
