Bitlocker auto unlock 'Element not found'

I'm having an issue with BitLocker on my Windows 11 laptop. My D: drive is BitLocker encrypted, but when trying to enable the automatic unlock feature, an error 'Élément introuvable' (Element not found) pops up.

I've tried a few things like restarting, using powershell cmdlets and disabling/enabling bitlocker, but no luck so far.

Has anyone else dealt with this issue or have any suggestions?

(My C Drive's auto unlock works fine.)

Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

I found in another thread someone with the same issue and one user said they fixed it with these steps:

    "Shutdown the bitlocker on "D"

From an elevated command prompt, execute the following command:

    bcdboot %systemdrive%\Windows\

    Turn bitlocker on:

When turning on, check the option "auto-unlock"

    Hello,

Thanks for your reply but that didn't solve the problem either.

    I see,

I'm sorry to hear it didn't work. I never had such an issue with Bitlocker and I cannot find any other relevant information for this specific matter therefore I'm going to release this question so it will be open to other experts.

    Best of luck!

    Thank you for your assistance.

I took a look in the windows event viewer and found multiple event ids that are related to this issue (this might be helpful to identify the problem):
