Issue with Dual Monitor Setup in Microsoft Remote Desktop App

I am using the Microsoft Remote Desktop app (https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9wzdncrfj3ps?hl=en-US&gl=US, not the Remote Desktop Connection app), but I am unable to get dual monitors to work. I can't access any Display settings within the Remote Desktop app. While I can connect remotely without issues and my second monitor is properly connected and functional, I cannot use both monitors during the remote session. I followed the instructions in this link (https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/remote-desktop-not-allowing-the-use-of-dual/c82f8d69-96b3-45f8-8a67-df5cdacd49a3) to right-click on the remote desktop and disable the default setting, but I couldn’t find the relevant options.

I tried to upload the screenshot here, but I am not able to.

    Hello,

You will just right-click on the computer's icon to bring up another settings menu.

Once in the settings menu, disable the option to use default settings. Under the display settings section, you will be able to modify the display configuration according to your preferences.

    I hope this information helps.

    Best regards,

    Karlie Weng

Karlie... are you sure you are using the Microsoft Remote Desktop app from the Store found here?

    This
is what my screen looks like:

... and when I click on [...], then "Edit" for tad-office-pc2 I see:

With the Remote Desktop Connection app I have the "Use all my monitors for the remote session" checkbox to enable dual monitor support:

It does not appear that Microsoft Remote Desktop supports this feature?
