Hello,

Im using Windows Server 2016 Standart with Active Directory with all my users and also same server running Network Policy Server and is used Unifi Wifi. All users from Active Directory can connect to wifi and works perfectly. The problem is that I can't connect other server with users in Network Policy Server in Remote RADIUS Server, i add the other server but nothing happens. I need make a user able to connect with local logins and remote server logins work in the same way.

I tried in Connection Request Policy set to Forwarding to remote server, and users can connect to to remote but cannot to local and local login not work.

Maybe needs to set settings in Network Policies?

Maybe someone could help configure to connect to both local and remote servers?

Thanks for the help

    Hello,

It sounds like you are trying to configure a RADIUS proxy where the NPS server forwards some authentication requests to a remote RADIUS server. This is a fairly complex setup as it involves multiple layers of authentication and configuration.

Remote radius server groups are about some configuration that needs to be forwarded to another NPS server for authentication.

Here are the relevant conditional configurations.

Here are the network policies, which configure some authentication policies.

Here are the conditions for allowing authentication.

Here you can configure the authentication method you want to configure, PEAP or smart card.

I recommend first troubleshooting with the NPS logs. The logs will tell you which policies were matched and why certain decisions were made. If you provide more details about the exact policies and settings, I may be able to provide more targeted advice.

    Best Regards

    Zunhui
