The first thing to do is to see that your system meets the requirements for Hyper-V. Here are the system requirements from Microsoft:

    Windows 10 Hyper-V System Requirements

If your system meets the requirements, the next step is to sign in to the Administrator account and install Hyper-V from Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off

It's sometimes helpful to uninstall any other hypervisors before you begin (like VirtualBox or VMWare.)

Hi, I am Van. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Windows user like you. I'll be glad to help you today.

Kindly also enable the Hyper-V option to install the application. Please see attached image for additional reference.

    Best regards,

    Hi Glow_Reader

Please do try the workaround below and see if this can help fix the issue.

    1. Open PowerShell with admin rights. Then type or copy the command below.

    Enable-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -FeatureName Microsoft-Hyper-V-All

Also, check if the virtualization option is enabled on your laptop's BIOS setting.

    Best regards,

    Van
