    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

Based on the description, I understand your question is related to sfc /scannow fails at 35%.

The System File Checker tool built into Windows can scan your Windows system files for corruption or any other changes.

Try boot into safe mode to run this command again:

Restart the computer, press and hold the F8 key as your computer restarts. The machine will show advanced boot options

Select Safe Mode to boot into Safe Mode, check if the issue disappears in Safe mode.

Also, try check if below command can help fix and check the command result:

    • DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
    • Dism /Image:C: /Cleanup-Image /revertpendingactions

Install the latest windows update, and uninstall 3rd party anti-virus software.

    Have a nice day.

    Best Regards,

    Molly

    Hello,

The files in questions are dependent on the released version of Windows you have installed including which updates you may have installed.

There may be a better indication of the missing files in the \Windows\logs\cbs\CBS.log file.

This should show the files including versions that appear to be corrupt.
