Since Saturday, 1st March ( NZ time) Onedrive sync does not work anymore. I could not open any files on on computer, all showed a red X beside the file. I also got prompted to log in as Onedrive was "not connected" when doing so the log in idled for a while, the stopped- the cloud at the right hand bottom kept crossed through. I also changed the password- same result.

I can log onto the Onedrive website (onedrive.live.com), but I cannot see any files in the "my Files" tab, even though data clearly must be present at at can be seen on the bottom left corner 6% used- 71GB of 1 TB.

I kept on updating the page, used a different browser- always the same result.

PLease help!

    Hi @Sandra Rampe

Which type of OneDrive are you using, OneDrive for Business or personal OneDrive?

Have you tried changing the Internet environment? If possible, it is recommended that you connect to a mobile phone hotspot to test.

Please refer to steps in "Reset OneDrive" first.

It is recommended to locate to C:\Users\UserName\Appdata\Local\Microsoft\Onedrive\24.XXX.XXX.XXXX, and run OneDriveSetup.exe for a check.

(Please note, the "UserName" is your Windows account name. If you cannot find "Appdata" folder, please go to File Explorer > View in Show/hide group > check the box of "Hidden Items". Besides, "24.XXX.XXX.XXXX" is the version number of OneDrive.)

If this application is not found, you may go to folder to run OneDriveSetup.exe in C:\Program Files\Microsoft OneDrive\24.XXX.XXX.XXXX.

Back at the beginning of March, Microsoft has a world-wide outage. It was repaired, but it affected logins for a few days. It should be cleared up by now.
