An Azure managed PostgreSQL database service for app development and deployment.
My Azure Database PostgreSQL resources disappeared
Hi,
Hope everything is going well.
I've trying to access my PostgreSQL resources in Azure Portal but I cannot find them. I've read that Microsoft Azure is not supporting the creation of single server but I don't know why I cannot see them in my portal.
- Is there a way I can manage them?
- How can I migrate them to flexible server without downtime?
- If I migrate them, will I be able to see/manage those resources in the Azure portal?

Thanks for the Question and using Microsoft Q&A
We need some additional inputs from your end.
Are you unable to find the single servers in the Azure portal?
Could you please share the details asked in private message?

Thanks for the reply.
I'm not able to find the single servers in the Azure portal. I just know they are there because I can see them in the Bill summary and because I can connect from my database client and my app keeps working as per usual, but I cannot manage them in the Azure portal and I need to migrate them to the flexible servers.

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.
As I understand, you are unable to see Azure Database for PostgreSQL in your subscription and want to perform migration from single to flexible server.
Could you please try to use Azure CLI commands and if find server there, perform operations mentioned at below link:
We are working on the case as discussed over private message, thanks for your patience.

2025-03-07T05:42:55.4466667+00:00 Hi,
That document is not relevant in my case, I cannot even find the resources I need to migrate.
I tried to list the resources via CLI but not even there I can see them.

As discussed, we have checked internally, and the resources are not present in your subscription.
Could you please check if there is an Azure policy or script which might have caused it's removal.
Please let us know if you have more queries.
Thanks

2025-03-10T23:40:28.3166667+00:00 Hi, they are not present in the Azure Portal but the resources are still working because I can still connect to them, plus I can see they are still being charged in the billing information.

Could you please confirm if the issue is now resolved?
Upon increasing target server storage, your migration completed.
Let us know if you have further queries.
Thanks

2025-03-21T05:20:48.2766667+00:00 Hi,
This is the same situation that I'm having now. I have 2 Azure database for PostgreSQL flexible server. But currently I found only 1 server now.
I can still see it online from the website that connected to it. And also, I can still see it in Billing but I cannot access to manage that resource in Azure portal (I have Owner role in subscription).
How can I solve this issue?

Your single server may have auto-migrated and once the sync operation completes. You should be able to see the server in the portal.
Thank You!
