I'm not able to upload training data into the Portal, getting a File Upload error:

I've followed instructions including the Training data from Microsoft Learn: Fine Tune Module. https://microsoftlearning.github.io/mslearn-ai-studio/Instructions/05-Finetune-model.html

Would love help as to what is wrong.

    Hi Viswavaageesh Chandramouli

Sorry for the trouble. As Marcin Policht mentioned, this issue is an intermittent issue.

Please add yourself as "Cognitive Services OpenAI contributor role" for the OpenAI resource.

and make sure you are following the format mentioned here.

Below is the supported model for fine tuning

    • gpt-35-turbo (0613)
    • gpt-35-turbo (1106)
    • gpt-35-turbo (0125)
    • gpt-4 (0613)*****
    • gpt-4o (2024-08-06)
    • gpt-4o-mini (2024-07-18)

If it does not resolve, please recreate the OpenAI resource in another region like East Us or Sweden Central and add the OpenAI resource as Storage blob data owner for the mentioned storage in error.

The interface is actually a bit flakey - try it again and this eventually should work.

If not, then ensure that, as the message indicates, assign the Storage Blob Data Owner permissions to the managed identity associated with the Azure AI Foundry hub or project that you are using
