Snippet pop-up window stopped working - how can I get the snippet window to pop up after using the shortcut keys to snip?

Hello,

I have been trying to figure out why the auto pop-up window has suddenly stopped popping up after using the Snippet Tool.

I was able to get the automatic snip pop-up window to work again after a previous issue with it not working the way I want. I went to installed apps>Snipping Tool>Background App Permissions>Never.

I also tried going to Accessibility>Keyboard>Use the print screen to open screen capture - but that doesn't seem to help my issue either.

Can someone please point me in the right direction - because I have tried many suggestions that I found online but have been unsuccessful to get the snippet window to pop up after using the keyboard shortcut to create my snippet.

Thank you :)

Robert

    Hello Robert Fazzaro,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Here are some steps you can try:

    1. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve many issues.
    2. Ensure that the shortcut keys you are using are correctly set up and not conflicting with other applications.
    3. Make sure that your operating system and any related software are up to date.
    4. Sometimes, other software running in the background can interfere with the snippet tool. 5. If the tool is a separate application, try reinstalling it.

Here is a similar thread for your reference. You can check the methods/suggestions in this thread.

I hope the information above is helpful.
