I need to add Apigee on existing SSO

Need to enable SSO for SAAS also add layer of Apigee. How to configure that ?

Based on your query, I understand that you would like to add Apigee to SAAS application.

To implement SSO for a SAAS application, you need to configure the application from Enterprise applications in Entra ID. Here is the Microsoft document to configure an application: Add an enterprise application. You can also go through this document for an overview of adding different kinds of applications in Entra ID.

Adding Apigee layer to SAAS application is currently not available. Apigee is currently used for Azure APIM, which is added as a tool for migration. Apigee acts in different scenarios and here is the configuration you can do with Apigee: Apigee to APIM migration tool

But you can provide your idea in our feedback forum link which would reach our product team where if there is any higher requirement on the same, they would go for any possible implementation.

Can we Integrate Apigee with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).

Can Clients can obtain an Azure AD access token and send it to Apigee.

will Apigee validate the token by communicating with Azure AD.

Will This ensures secure authentication and authorization for all API requests.

Can we Integrate Apigee with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).
If you have OIDC or Oauth configuration for Apigee you can add the application as app registration and get an access token. Here is the Microsoft document for adding application in app registration: Register an application in Microsoft Entra ID

Can Clients obtain an Azure AD access token and send it to Apigee.
You can obtain the token for Apigee using the above protocols.

Will Apigee validate the token by communicating with Azure AD.
This scenario only comes when you add Apigee as layer, you don't have an option in Azure to add it as layer.

Will This ensure secure authentication and authorization for all API requests.
If you add Apigee as an application, you can use our APIs to make a request or retrieve the details but not Apigee APIs.
