How to change password in Microsoft outlook?

My computer has been in storage for 6 weeks. I have changed the password for my xfinity mail in xfinity. My outlook email has frozen as of 6 weeks ago and I cannot figure out where to change my password in outlook.

IF you are using an outlook.com email account with the New Outlook, then your Outlook password is the same as your Microsoft Account passwod.

Do you receive the pop-up windows to update the password in Outlook?

If so, you can remove your account and re-add it in your Outlook to check if there're any differences.
