Hi @James James
Welcome to our forum!
I had one personal account with an alias email via domeneshop.no. I had to change this alias to add my business email with the same alias,
This overlap might have caused conflicts, especially if the alias was removed from the personal account and added to the business account. Please ensure you can access both accounts:
- Personal Account: Try signing in with the original email or any recovery options (e.g., phone number or backup email).
- Business Account: Use the admin credentials or contact your Microsoft 365 admin if you're locked out.
If you're unable to access either account, you may need to contact Microsoft Support for account recovery.
Since the alias email was moved from the personal account to the business account, to resolve Alias Conflicts:
- Verify Alias Settings:
- Sign in to both accounts and check the alias settings.
- Ensure the alias is correctly linked to the business account. If not, please remove and re-add. More information: Add another email alias for a user - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn
- Update Email Forwarding:
- If needed, set up email forwarding from the personal account to the business account to avoid missing emails.
As for only the Inbox was imported, here are some steps you may want to take:
- Check the PST File:
- Open the PST file in Outlook (File > Open & Export > Open Outlook Data File).
- Verify if the Calendar, Contacts, and other folders are present.
- Re-import Specific Folders:
- During the import process, select specific folders (e.g., Calendar, Contacts) instead of the entire file. Hope it helps!
