Floating volume mute icon.

Enlarged, floating volume mute icon that I can't get rid of

blinked for like a second and the grandkids were poking at the keys on the keyboard and a grey box with the speaker icon that is "x" out just over an inch on each side appeared and moves up and down on the left side of the monitor. I've pressed the mute hot key mutton on the key board with and without the ctrl, fn, windows, and alt button, I've turned on the volume from the task bar "mixer" thing. this floating box doesn't let you click on it, it's like it's not there as your curser is then placed where ever you clicked even though the icon has since moved up or down the screen. I think this is a windows issue?  I know very little about computers. Oh, and the monitor is the type that is also TV and the icon appears when it is in TV mode too.  And it appears in chrome and explorer. HELP!!!!!!!!!!

    Hello Tyrone Tinsley,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Could you please provide a screenshot? With this, I can quickly identify the source of the issue.

I encountered a similar problem before, but it wasn't due to the computer; it was a screen "overlay" issue. It occurred because the screen was on mute. Please check it first.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,

    Daisy Zhou
