Server 2019 Hyper-V best RAID setup

Server 2019 Hyper-V host, VM's.

I may potentially have 8 HDD.

What would be the best RAID setup for performance and reliability?

The VM's would include file servers, Exchange 2016/2019 servers, etc.

If a RAID controller is recommended, is there a reliable one that can support 8 HDD for under $150?

Windows for business | Windows Client for IT Pros | Storage high availability | Virtualization and Hyper-V
Windows for business | Windows Server | User experience | Other
