Is there a way to circumnavigate a password that is protecting VBA projects?

While trying to access a workbook, I encountered a Run-Time Error 91 message. After diving into a couple Excel Help forums, the most likely cause of the problem is an incorrect coding of VBA.

Herein lies the problem...the VBA projects are password protected and the person who created the workbook has since left the firm. Nobody who has access to the workbook would have tried to edit the VBA coding between when it was last successfully opened and when we realized the error, so we cannott think of any reason why this error would have occurred.

This seems to be an isolated issue on this particular workbook that pulls data from an external add-in. Any help is much appreciated!
