taken from other forum "you can use karabiner.app to make f12 into insert for MRD it works for me link https://pqrs.org/osx/karabiner/ checkbox "Enable at only Remote Desktop Connection Client - Use F12 as insert" (it's findable by "insert" string)" hope it works

    Hi,

You can use on-screen keyboard after remotely connecting to the Windows PC if you would like to use insert key.
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/use-the-on-screen-keyboard-osk-to-type-ecbb5e08-5b4e-d8c8-f794-81dbf896267a

Or you can read below article to learn INSERT key usage in Windows on a Mac.
It says that if you have an Apple keyboard with numeric keypad, the “0” key on the numeric keypad is INSERT in Windows.
    https://developer.paciellogroup.com/blog/2013/08/insert-key-usage-in-windows-on-a-mac/

Hope above information can help you.

    Thanks,

    Eleven
