If the account exists, try verifying your request using the Authenticator app (first option). If you are still encountering the same issue, try using the verification code (second option). The verification code is available in the Multi-Factor Authentication app and will not come as a push notification.
To use the verification code:
Open the Microsoft Authenticator app -> Select your account ->Use the one-time password code -> Enter the code in the second option.
