Not able to log in sandbox in microsoft learn

Hello Team,

I am not able to log in to sandbox in microsoft learn. It is giving below error. I am using my personal Gmail account in this case.

please help.

Selected user account does not exist in tenant 'Microsoft Services' and cannot access the application '18fbca16-2224-45f6-85b0-f7bf2b39b3f3' in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Please use a different account.

Hi,

You didn't mention the specific module you are working on. Please follow below workaround and let me know if you have any questions/issues.

You should be able to work around the issue by first Activating the sandbox (solving puzzles, reviewing permissions, etc.) and then once you see the sign-in box appear on the right open a new browser tab. In this new tab, browse to https://shell.azure.com. If your existing sandbox hasn't expired you can use that instead of activating a new one.

When prompted, click Bash (If the exercise uses PowerShell you can switch to that using button above cloud shell window)

Next choose No storage account required, for Subscription select Concierge Subscription, and click Apply.

After several seconds delay while a cloud shell is requested and connected to, you should see $ prompt. At this point you can complete the exercises instructions, copy/paste code from exercise tab to cloud shell tab as needed, etc.

the exercise is completed. how can we verify it resource created is cleaned?

2.the sandbox does not get connected in Microsoft learn but on above cloudshell portal it is connected, are both same ?

In Task 1, Step #2, it is expected for you to receive "curl: (28) Connection timed out after 5001 milliseconds" (or similar) error. You need to continue on through the exercise steps and it will have you add incoming rule to Network Security Group (NSG) that permits port 80. You have to wait a minute or two after creating rule for it to take effect.

If your sandbox has expired, please go back to Unit 3 Create an Azure virtual machine exercise, Activate new sandbox, complete all instructions, then immediately jump to Unit 9 Configure network access exercise and complete all instructions.

Don't forget to use separate tag workaround when completing above exercises.

When on separate browser tab in cloud shell it is using same Azure subscription (temporary sandbox subscription), assuming you did not switch to your own Azure subscription.In the first exercise, notice the code refers to unique resource group name (e.g. learn-xxxxxxxx). If you ran these commands as-is in your own Azure subscription they would fail due to the resource group not existing.

Once the sandbox expires all resources created within are deleted automatically.

You may also access sandbox subscription via Azure portal. When using portal make sure you are using Microsoft Learn Sandbox directory by clicking on the gear icon in upper right corner. Once sandbox expires you will start seeing lots of errors since the resource group and its resources no longer exist.
