Hi there,

I have a question regarding Outlook and thank you for any advice.
Since we have Windows 11 deployed, our Outlook Desktop App Version 2409 (Build 18025.20140) does not download html pictures anymore. Even after clicking on "download" it only displays the pictures with a red cross.

What we have tried so far:

  • BlockHTTPImages under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Security does not exist.
  • Under File tab > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Trust Center Settings. I have disabled the 'Don't download pictures automatically in HTML e-mail messages or RSS items checkbox.'

In OWA it works fine, the pictures are displayed.

We need to use the classic Outlook App because the Outlook (new) seems to only support Exchange Online, while we still using Exchange on-prem.

Does anyone have an idea how to proceed or what we could try?

Thankful for any input.
