Hello, Microsoft Support Team,

I would like to request assistance in enabling Microsoft Copilot in Word and Excel, similar to how Gemini functions in Google Docs and Sheets. I am using a corporate license from my company and would like to understand the requirements and steps necessary to activate this feature.

Currently, I do not see an option to enable Copilot in Word/Excel within my work environment.

I have a corporate Microsoft (Office 365/Microsoft 365) license and would like to determine whether my license includes this feature or if an update is required.

I have already checked the settings in Microsoft Word/Excel and my account, but I could not find an option to activate Copilot.

I have not received any specific error messages; I simply do not see the feature available.

System Information:

Product Used: Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

Office/Microsoft 365 Version: 18.2503.1061.0

Operating System: Windows 11

License Type: Corporate

If any configuration changes are required on the administrator account, could you provide detailed instructions so I can check with my company’s IT department?

I look forward to your response with the necessary guidance to enable Copilot. Thank you in advance for your support!

Best regards,

Microsoft Copilot Other

@Moises Neres - The integration of Microsoft 365 Copilot and Microsoft 365 Apps enables Copilot experiences to take place inside individual apps, such as Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, Outlook, and more. As a result of this integration, the requirements for using Microsoft 365 Copilot are nearly identical to the requirements for using Microsoft 365 Apps.
You can find the list of eligible base licenses in the license requirements section or in the Microsoft 365 Copilot service description guide.

Please refer below documents for more details:

Enable Users for Microsoft 365 Copilot

    Thanks,

    Meghana
