Hello,

This is actually for Windows Server 2025. I have a service that is not starting. It is stuck in a "starting" state. Rebooting does not fix it. Tried to disable the service but it remains in a "starting" state. Tried to do a selective startup with the service disabled. It still shows it to be in a "starting" state. Have tried to uninstall the product, but the uninstall hangs and eventually times out.

The service in question is the Quickbooks Database Manager. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

BD

We are having the same issue with a PostGreSQL service that is also stuck in a "Starting" state.
Power cycling the server did not clear the error. Neither did setting it to Manual. We thought a WIndows Upgrade might have caused the issue and so we Uninstalled KB5053598 and it temporarily fixed the issue and resurfaced a couple days later.
Called into Microsoft and they did not provide any support. This is a brand new expensive piece of
software, you would think that there was support for this.
