Hello,
I am trying to figure out a way to monitor missing data / heartbeat..
First of all is : Why does the following does not work? Basically, if you have data => The Alert should be triggered. Is due to dimensions that for value 0 it is removed and not getting triggered any longer?
Second way: I am doing the way to export the systems where the heartbeat is missing for more then 5 min. Sadly in this way the Alert is keep generating each 5 min. Why does it not listen on Dimensions?
How can we have a easy and correct way to discover Heartbeat / Missing of data and generate for each System 1 Alert that will close Automatically when is starting to receive data again?
Isn`t there a way?

Yes, if the data is available to be present, the alert can be triggered. however, Azure when a Threshold value is 0, it may not trigger alerts. To address this, set the aggregation type to "Count" and ensure the threshold value matches the evaluation granularity. Please refer to the documentation for more details. and see if it works.

This happens because the frequency of evaluation is set to 5 minutes, meaning Azure Monitor checks the condition defined in your alert rule every 5 minutes. If the condition is met, the alert will trigger within that interval, resulting in repeated alerts.

Make sure you set up the Aggregation type to Count and the Threshold value to match the Evaluation granularity.
