Hi @Chris E
I understand that you are trying to close azure account, and you have deleted the only tenant and have no active subscriptions.
When you close your business account with Microsoft, you should delete all information related to your account. This information includes subscriptions, licenses, payment methods, users, and user data. Follow the steps in this article to learn how to close your account:
Step 1: Delete users
Step 2: Cancel all active subscriptions
Step 3: Delete all disabled subscriptions
Step 4: Disable multi-factor authentication
Delete the tenant in Microsoft Entra ID
After you complete this final step, your account with Microsoft is closed and deleted.
Follow the document for more information: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/commerce/close-your-account?view=o365-worldwide
- Azure doesn't immediately delete the subscription. If you have a disabled Access to Azure Active Directory subscription, the subscription gets automatically deleted after 90 days of canceling. No action is needed to manually delete it.
- The subscriptions must be in a Deprovisioned state to allow organization deletion
Azure never automatically deletes your Azure account. If you want to delete your Azure account, see How do I delete my Azure account.
It takes certain period of time to delete permanently even if you sign in it is redirected to default directory you can ignore it because it is in the process of deletion.
