Dear Microsoft Community,

I hope you are all doing well. I wanted to reference my previous thread, in which I requested on-premise containers for certain German voices. Thanks to the helpful guidance and support from the product team, we gained access to “de-de-amalianeural,” “de-at-ingridneural,” and “de-at-jonasneural” for offline usage. I sincerely appreciate the assistance, it has been a tremendous help for our on-premise requirements.

Moving forward, our team has identified the need for additional voices (in multiple languages) for our on-premise Text-to-Speech solution. As before, we must comply with strict data protection regulations, so these voices need to run in containers entirely offline. Would it be possible to initiate a request for more voices to be made available in the on-premise containers?

I understand this usually involves contacting the Speech Services product team for further steps and approval. If you need any follow-up details or if there is a particular process to request additional voices (like forwarding our confirmation emails or providing more specifics on the languages), please let me know. I’m happy to supply whatever information is necessary.

Thank you again for your continued support. I look forward to working together to make these new voices available.

Best regards, Philipp

    Hello Philipp,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community and for your continued engagement with Azure AI Speech services. I am glad to hear that the on-premise containers for the German voices have been beneficial for your team and that they’ve helped you meet your data protection requirements.

Regarding your request for additional on-premise TTS voices in multiple languages, we appreciate your proactive approach and understanding of the process. To initiate a request for more voices to be made available in on-premise containers, you can follow these steps:

    1. Reach out to the Azure AI Speech product team directly through your Microsoft account representative or via the Azure support portal. Clearly outline the specific voices and languages you require for your on-premise solution.
    2. Include any relevant information about your use case, compliance requirements, and the volume of usage.
    3. If the product team requires confirmation of your previous requests or any other documentation, be prepared to forward those emails or provide additional details as needed.
    4. The product team may reach out to you for further clarification or to discuss the feasibility of your request. Be ready to collaborate closely with them to ensure your needs are met.
    5. Keep an eye on updates from the Azure AI Speech team regarding the availability of new voices. They will inform you once the requested voices are ready for deployment in on-premise containers.
