VMS_PortableViewer.exe - virtual machine error

Question

If i want to run VMS_PortableViewer.exe (application for video security cameras) in W11 will en error message be dipleyd - The application was unable to load a required virtual machine component.

Have you updated the patch on your computer recently? According to recent user feedback, installing the KB5050009 patch will cause this error. If so,you could try uninstalling the update and see if that resolves the issue. To do this, go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > View update history > Uninstall updates. Find the update in question and click Uninstall.

If the problem still cannot be solved, I suggest you run the computer in clean mode to check the impact of third-party applications.
