I'm trying to launch Cloud Shell with a hybrid connection in a virtual network, but I'm encountering an error message and the terminal won't start. The error message is as follows:

Sorry, your Cloud Shell failed to provision: {"code":"InternalServerError","message":"Encountered an internal server error. The tracking activity id is 'bd1bbfb6-0186-4cab-a5c0-4cb3e9b0178f', correlation id is '****faf5-cb28-49c3-a991-325a9645d****'."} Please refresh the page. If the issue persists, please follow the troubleshooting guide Cloud Shell Troubleshooting or file a ticket New support request. Request correlation id: JAPANEAST:20250317T011558Z:63a0faf5-cb28-49c3-a991-325a9645d6b3

I followed the instructions for setting up a hybrid connection in a virtual network, which can be found here. Until a few days ago, everything was working fine, and I was able to use various commands.

Could you please provide a solution to this problem?

    Hi Sakakibara

To troubleshoot the issue, please check the details below:

    • Please refresh the cloud shell and try launching Cloud Shell again to see if the issue persists (Try browser with incognito mode).
    • Check the Azure status page to see if there are any ongoing incidents or outages related to Cloud Shell region. https://azure.status.microsoft/en-us/status
    • Ensure that the Network Contributor role is correctly assigned.
