Issue with OAuth Authentication When Switching Directories in Azure DevOps
Dear Microsoft Support Team,
I am experiencing an issue with OAuth authentication in Azure DevOps when switching directories between tenants. Specifically, when I switch from one directory to another within different tenants, the OAuth authentication returns the directory information of the previously active tenant instead of the currently active one. This issue persists even after closing all tabs and the browser.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Log in to Azure DevOps with Directory A in Tenant A.
- Switch to Directory B in Tenant B.
- Use OAuth to authenticate.
- Observe that the returned directory information is for Directory A in Tenant A instead of Directory B in Tenant B.
- Close all tabs and the browser.
- Repeat steps 1-3 and observe the same issue.
Workaround: The only workaround we have found is to switch to the other directory once, go back to any other directory, and then switch again to the desired directory.
Additional Information:
- The "Settings of Last Visited" option is already set in the Azure portal.
Impact: This issue is causing confusion and inefficiency in our workflow, as we rely on accurate directory information for our operations.
Request: We kindly request your assistance in resolving this issue so that OAuth authentication returns the correct directory information when switching between directories in different tenants.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Best regards,
Michael Yuen
