Sync. MS Project 2013 <-> Sharepoint Task List: Unique ID can not be synchronizes

Hi,
we synchronize MS project 2013 with a sharepoint task list. Basically this works very well.
But to keep MS Project and Sharepoint synchronizable, we want to use the Unique ID.
Unfortunately this field is not available for synchronization.
Is there a solution for this issue?
Thanks and greetings.

    Hi, @Michael Herm ,

In SharePoint Online, we already have a special column named TaskUID which is synced with Project Unique ID. Just like the blog I provided saying, we are not able to edit the view to see it. One workaround I find will be creating a calculated column. Make it equals the TaskUID column, then we can view the unique ID in SharePoint task list.

    Here is my test list:

    Hi, @Michael Herm ,

It is a by-design behavior as SharePoint and Project has its own ID to keep track of the items. We cannot sync the Unique ID in Project with the ID in SharePoint Task list. However, this will not bother the sync to work as SharePoint has its own logic to keep track of the items newly created either in Project or in SharePoint. Here is a blog talking about the sync process which can bring you some light..

    Hi JerryXu.
Thank you for the quick reply. Our challenge is not to synchronize the Unique ID from MS-Project with the Task ID of Sharepoint. We do not question that these two ID's have to be different. But we have created a column "Unique ID" in Sharepoint, with which we want to synchronize the MS-Project Unique ID.
But since the Unique ID in MS Project is not available for sync-selection, we can't do that.
Surprisingly, this is possible with the MS Project Predecessor / Successor and Resources Unique ID. So why not with the task unique ID as well?
    Kind regards, Michael
