Currently, I am connecting an Azure bot to a Skype channel to send messages, but what should I do when Skype is discontinued? If I connect an Azure bot to a Teams channel, do I have to purchase an Office 365 Business license and register the Teams app to use it (since I can't install a bot on Teams for personal use)?

    Hello 隆 河合,

As of now, Skype for Business Online has already been retired as of July 31, 2021. If you are currently connecting an Azure bot to a Skype channel, you will need to transition to Microsoft Teams, as it is the recommended platform for communication and collaboration moving forward.

To connect an Azure bot to a Microsoft Teams channel, you must have a Microsoft 365 Business license to fully utilize Teams' capabilities. Additionally, since personal-use bots are not supported, you will need to register the Teams app for your bot within your organization's tenant.

To successfully deploy your bot in Teams, ensure that you have a business account and follow Microsoft's official guidelines for registering and deploying bots in Teams.

I Hope this helps. Do let me know if you have any further queries.
