SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) provides network administrators with information about devices connected to the network. In order to solve the problem of losing the network configuration file, you can refer to the following steps to try to change the status of the SNMP service and change it to automatic startup.
- Press the Windows + R key to open the Run dialog box, Enter Services.msc, and press Enter to open the service window.
- Right-click SNMP trap, then click Properties, and switch from Manual to automatic from the boot type drop-down menu.
- Click Apply and then click OK.
Note: When using a public network profile, the PC is hidden from other devices on the same network. Private network profiles, on the other hand, allow you to view other devices nearby. If you are using a public network profile I recommend changing it to a private network profile to see if you can resolve the issue.
