Problem with Windows File Explorer only showing onedrive files.

Windows File Explorer only shows OneDrive files but not local files.

How do I return Windows File Explorer to it's settings BEFORE I turned on backup with OneDrive?

    Hi,

Please follow these steps to revert to the previous settings where local files are also visible:

    1. Turn off OneDrive Backup:
      • Open OneDrive settings by clicking on the OneDrive icon in the system tray.
      • Go to Settings > Sync and Backup > Manage Backup.
      • Turn off the backup for the folders you want to revert to local storage.
    2. Restore Default Folder Locations:
      • Open File Explorer and navigate to the folders that are currently backed up to OneDrive (e.g., Documents, Pictures).
      • Right-click on the folder and select Properties.
      • Go to the Location tab and click on Restore Default.
      • Confirm the action to move the folder back to its original location on your local drive.
    3. Check File Explorer Settings:
      • Open File Explorer and click on the View tab.
      • Ensure that Navigation pane is enabled and Show all folders is checked.
      • Navigate to This PC to access your local files.
