RDP failed to server with Connection Broker services installed via Netscaler

I am having an issue to RDP to machine/servers with Connection Broker services installed on that machine itself via the Citrix Netscaler. Others were working fine when I tried to RDP via Citrix Netscaler as long as there were no Connection Broker services installed. When I tried to RDP, it will prompt for the password so basically no issue on the network itself and after entering the password, the error will prompt out "Your computer can't connect to the remote computer because the Connection Broker couldn't validate the settings specified in your RDP file. Contact your network administrator for assistance"

I am not sure if there is anything wrong on the RDP file, but the file was Netscaler generated. Hope to get some workaround on this. Thanks.

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A.

Based on the description, I understand your question is related to RDP failed to server with Connection Broker services installed via Netscaler.

Try check the RDP configuration is correct and that the Connection Broker settings are properly configured. And the Connection Broker settings are correctly configured. Check the Citrix Netscaler is correctly configured to handle RDP connections with Connection Broker services.

Check the load balancing settings are correctly configured. Issues with load balancing may cause problems with RDP connections when using Connection Broker. Also, check session redirection is correctly configured.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, you might want to consider reaching out to your network administrator or Citrix support for further assistance.

    Have a nice day.

    Best Regards,

    Molly
