Upgrading windows 10 to another edition for free.

Question

Hello Microsoft. I tried to upgrade the edition but it still says install windows 10 home and that's what I have and I opened the setup application. can you tell me how to upgrade for free? Thank you.

Is the current system Win10 Home Edition?

You can upgrade from Win10 to Win11 in-place for free, if your system meets the minimum requirements to install Win11.

If you want to change your Win10 version, such as converting from Home to Enterprise, you need to purchase a new license.
