Hello,

I am reaching out for support regarding the Microsoft Applied Skills: Secure Storage for Azure Files and Azure Blob Storage assessment.

During the second question, I encountered an issue where I was unable to add a lifecycle management rule for blobs the app2 storage account. Could you please check if there is a bug affecting this process?

I appreciate your assistance.

Maria

    Hi Maria Rezapour ,

I understand you are experiencing issues with your Microsoft Applied Skills assessment. To troubleshoot the problem with adding a lifecycle management rule for blobs in the app2 storage account.

I Suggest few steps you can follow to ensure everything is set up correctly, ensure that you have the necessary permissions to add lifecycle management rules to the storage account. You need to have at least the "Storage Blob Data Contributor" role assigned to your user account.

Make sure that the storage account is properly configured and that there are no restrictions or policies that might prevent you from adding lifecycle management rules, check the configuration of the lifecycle management rule you are trying to add. Ensure that all required fields are filled out correctly and that the rule is valid.

Sometimes, issues can arise due to temporary problems with the Azure portal. Try logging out and logging back in or using a different browser or incognito mode to see if the issue persists.

Look for any known issues or bugs related to lifecycle management in Azure Storage. You can check the Azure status page or the Azure updates page for any relevant information.
