How can I get the Classic Outlook to stay connected

When using Classic Outlook, I keep getting disconnected after only a few minutes with an error message that says: Task '******@outlook.com' reported error (0x80040115) : 'We can't complete this because we can't contact the server right now. Please try again later.' Then I close Classic Outlook and cannot restart it without restarting my computer.
There is nothing wrong with the server because I can access my webmail and use the New Outlook (which I really do not like). I also know there's nothing wrong with the server because my husband has the same computer that I do, with 2016 Classic Outlook and it's working just fine and he doesn't get booted offline. The "Work OfflineToggle" that you're supposed to be able to click on to get back online is not working.
I have contacted MS Help three times and three different Techs have taken over my computer to try and fix this. In the process, I've lost a lot of my emails (not happy about that) Be that as it may, I just want to be able to stay online with the Classic Outlook like I used to be able to do. When I was a Realtor I used Classic Outlook exclusively and had to stay online in order to serve my clients. I do not know why Office 2024, nor the 365/Office subscription Classic Outlook keeps booting me offline.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for anything you can suggest to stop this behavior and keep my email connected.

    Hi @Jayne ,

    Welcome to our forum!

Does this issue occur recently? If so, have you done any specific operations before that?

Considering that it may be caused by the damage of the profile/data file in the Outlook client, it is suggested that you could try to create a new profile and add the account to check if there are some differences:

    1. Create a new Outlook Desktop profile, Create an Outlook profile.
    2. Add your Outlook.com account, Add an email account to Outlook.

    Hope to help you!
