In SCCM Software Update Point, I have several products checked, including Windows 10, Server 2016, Server 2019. The mass of updates I was expecting to see, including anything for Windows 10, is still missing. I only see 270 updates, and any new updates are mostly defender updates. I recently added Server 2012 and 2012 R2, and many 2012 R2 updates finally appeared. I've been syncing Software Updates Regularly. Why am I not getting other product's updates?

In addition, it is recommended to check whether there are any error information in the wsyncmgr.log.

If there are any updates about this issue, please remember to inform me.

Thanks for your time and have a nice day.

    Regards,
    Rita

    Hi FranC365-7229,

It is a good idea to hear that the needed updates are added into the CM console. I'm not sure why the windows 10 boxes are unchecked. Perhaps some one in your team have changed the settings. Any way, it is OK and this issue has been resolved successfully.

For the how to get the history of previous updates question, it is recommended to refer to the below picture to configure:
    Set the Supersedence Rules:

In my opinion, the WSUS Maintenance option is used to clean up the WSUS database automatically.

In my opinion, we could not get the previous updates back if these updates are cleaned. But we could deploy the latest updates for the clients. The security updates are cumulative in windows 10 and contain the previous updates. So there is no need to deploy the previous updates for the clients.

In addition, there is a link for your reference:

Hope the above will be helpful. Thanks for your time.

    Regards,
    Rita
