How do I publish a Web App to the Azure Marketplace

Hello I'm a developer at a software company, we've deployed our software as a Web App and it runs in our development environment.

Now we want to hand it over to operations or even a customer to create the app themselves in their own tenancy.

How do we go from our Web App to a listing in the marketplace that people are able to buy?

In order to publish the App service in Marketplace,

Make your Web App deployable via ARM or container

Join Microsoft Partner Center

Create an Azure Application Offer

Define pricing (free, BYOL, or SaaS)

Submit for testing and certification

Publish on Azure Marketplace

#2 You must register your company as a Microsoft Partner and onboard to the Commercial Marketplace:

Go to https://partner.microsoft.com

Create a Partner Center account

Go to Commercial Marketplace > Overview

Click “Publish an Offer”

Choose Azure Application Offer Type (since it’s a Web App deployable into a customer's Azure subscription).

In Partner Center, choose Azure Application as your offer type.

Fill in:

Offer ID & Name

Publisher details

Description, icons, categories

Under Technical Configuration, provide:

Azure Resource Manager (ARM) template

Optionally, a custom UI definition for deployment UX

Deployment preview and test parameters
