Is it possible to implement both ADFS and password hash sync for a single tenant

Hello,

ADDS is running in a hybrid environment with AD connect sync . I neet to implement AD FS in onpremise network . I dont want to disrupt already existing environment . So I want to add new users in a separate OU . Is it possible to use ADFS for this particular OU and AD sync existing solution to the already existing OU ? Is it possible to configure Azure AD Connect in this way so that i can use both ?
