How do I apply my Azure grant to my Organization's account

My organization shows an annual $2,000 Non-profit grant, but I do not see that it has been applied to our account/invoices. There has been turnover and the account that registered is no longer with the organization.

It seems that your organization has been approved for the annual $2,000 Azure Nonprofit Grant, but it has not been applied to your account or invoices. This might be due to turnover in your organization or incomplete activation of the grant.

To confirm that your organization remains registered as a Microsoft-approved nonprofit, log in to the Microsoft Nonprofit Portal to verify your status. If you no longer have access to the original account used for registration, contact Microsoft Nonprofit Support through the portal to update the account owner details. If the grant hasn’t been claimed yet, Log into the Nonprofit Portal using your organization's credentials and navigate to the "Azure Credits" section and click "Claim Now" to activate the grant. Link: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/nonprofittechies/claiming-azure-credits/4228873

If it has already been claimed but not applied Sign in to the Azure Sponsorship Portal using your Azure account credentials and reconfirm whether the grant has been applied by checking your balance under "Check Your Balance". If you don’t see an active subscription, ensure that you are using an account with sufficient permissions (e.g., Owner role) on the subscription.

If required, add payment details for your Azure subscription through the Azure Sponsorship Portal to ensure proper billing once credits are consumed

If your grant has expired or wasn’t renewed due to turnover, follow these steps by logging into the Nonprofit Hub>Select "Azure Grant" and click "Renew Now" if eligible. Link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/industry/nonprofit/renew

To track usage of your grant, note that Cost Management & Billing data may not be visible for Azure sponsorship subscriptions. Instead, use the "Check Your Balance" feature on the Azure Sponsorship Portal.

This did not work. We have the grant on the Non-Profit portal. However, it is not applied to our Azure acciount

Hi Virginia Miller,

To apply your Azure nonprofit grant to your organization's account, please follow these steps:

Sign in to the Nonprofit Hub using your organization’s credentials.

Verify your nonprofit status your account must show as “Approved” in order to proceed.

Once approved, locate and select the “Azure Grant” tile from the dashboard.

If your organization is eligible, you’ll see an option to apply the grant. Follow the prompts to complete the application process.

If the Non-Profit grant is not reflected in your Azure account, please ensure you are logged into the correct account associated with the grant or sponsorship. Only account owners can access certain portals to activate or monitor benefits. If you see an error like "This account does not have an active Sponsorship," try logging in with the registered Azure sponsorship account. If the balance still does not appear, it may be due to a synchronization delay.
