Did you clean up the health agent in Entra?

Plan to remove on-prem AD and move everything to Azure AD. Disabled on-prem sync and uninstalled sync software from on-prem AD. Set OnPremisesSyncEnabled to False, and Sync services show "No access".
However, admin is still getting daily email notification "We detected synchronization errors in your directory" and Sync report shows errors occurred the day before everything was disabled.
Since plan is to migrate to Azure AD, I can disable the email alerts but wondering why this is happening. Thanks in advance.
